Swirling Through Life
Art-making is a discovery process! A while ago, I realized much of my abstract work involves swirlies, but it took me a while to understand why I liked them so much.
About 35 years ago, I was facing a huge life trauma and was guided by the visual of a bit of bark happily floating along, through the rapids, in the gentle flow. Swirling keeps you from getting stuck. And it’s fun. Stay in the current. Just float. Don’t fight against it. Swirl.
